In The New Math of Mashups in The New Yorker, it discusses how the combination of different songs. With the aif6of Acid Pro, a software which two songs can be looped together creates different songs, sometimes with different meanings as the mashup of Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" and the Strokes "Hard to Explain," transformed Aguilera's sexy song into a desperate call for help. New media fosters creativity in which certain software creates new and unexpected projects.
